Proofreading is the final stage before a book is published. The proofreader catches any errors that may have slipped through during the copy editing stage as well as looking at the format and layout of the manuscript.

Rates depend on the word count, the subject matter, the accuracy of the spelling and grammar etc. Based on these factors, I can either charge a fixed fee for the work or charge by the hour.

We offer a free sample edit of 1,000 words for each service, so you can see if we're the right fit for you and your work.

We work using Track Changes in Microsoft Word, so you can see the edits we have made to your work. Either American English or British English can be used depending on your preference.
