LINE EDITING
Line editing looks for issues with spelling, punctuation, grammar and style long before it is sent for proofreading. During this stage, the editor thoroughly checks the manuscript to ensure a professional standard is met. They may rewrite the text to ensure consistency with style or voice, or correct any confusing or wordy sentences.

At Loose Leaf Editing, we will provide a style sheet (a record of style preferences) which you can use when self-editing or when giving your manuscript to a proofreader.
We offer a free sample edit of 500 words for each service, so you can see if we're the right fit for you and your work.
We work using Track Changes in Microsoft Word, so you can see the edits we have made to your manuscript. Either American English or British English can be used depending on your preference.
